Braddock and CarterBraddock and Carter are two male beige hooded dumbo rats (beige = color, hooded = pattern, dumbo = funny ears). Like typical male fancy rats, they are laaaazy... my kind of pet! They're happy to hang out on my shoulder or lap while I surf the net, watch T.V., read a book, whatever. I built their cage out of plastic-coated wire pantry shelving. I used green plastic coated wire mesh for the shelves & top, cable ties to hold the whole thing together, and an under-the-bed storage bin for the litter tray. It was fairly easy to build and very cheap (compared to a store bought cage).
