Ex-Pets

I call them "Ex-Pets" because "Beloved Rainbow Angels" is just too cheesy. This is the page dedicated to all my animals who lived and then died.

Sarah: Has her own memorial page.

Maxwell Silver: A little white male "feeder" mouse that came home with me on the first day of my short lived pet shop career. Lesson learned: don't play with feeder animals (the other lesson I learned, of course, was don't work at a pet shop if you actually love animals. If your fellow employees don't drive you mad, than the customers damn sure will). I got him May 4th '02. He went with us on road trips to Indiana and Georgia. He developed a bad skin condition, and despite the vets best efforts died suddenly on September 14th. He was burried under my mothers great big lilac bush back at our old house.

Brisco & Unnamed: My second go at feeders. These little cuties were rats, not mice, and unfortunately were sick and untame. I worked with them for about two weeks and there was a lot of improvement in their health and temperament when they suddenly died within days of each other. Unnamed went first and he was the first animal to die in my hands. Brisco was tucked away in my shirt when he passed on. I didn't get to spend much time with them, but they will always be remembered.

Moonbeam & Luna: My first bettas, a male and a female.

The Betta Boys: You can read all about them on my fish page.

Zora: A female praying mantis. She was the most laid back mantis I ever met, and of all the insect pets I've had she was with me the longest (also the only one with a name :).

Aside from pets that died, I have a few pets that are still alive but don't live with me any more. There are the turtles: you can read about them on their own page. And then there is Dakota, who also has his own page (but not yet).

I really hate updating this page and I hope that I won't have to for a very long time.
