The Monstrosity
I built Traveller a "NIC" (Neat Idea Cubes) cage. It was big, cheap, easy to put together and looks pretty nice. It's a little floppy, and hard to move. I need to replace the cardboard on the shelf, but for now it's cheap and it works. It's so honking big that I dubbed it "The Monstrosity".

This was Travellers first cage, before I built the NIC cage.

THE MONSTROSITY (vs. 1.0). There is plexiglass underneath to protect the carpet, and old pillow cases on top of that to give Traveller better traction.

See how big it is compared to the old cage! The old cage is about two times the recommended size for Himalayans.

THE MONSTROSITY (vs. 2.0). When we moved, I rearranged Travellers cage a lot. The new shelf makes the cage MUCH more stable. Since it's now in a room with vinyl flooring, I ditched the plexiglass (the pillowcase idea didn't take because Traveller knows they are toys).
