Traveller
Follow. But! Follow only if ye be men of valor, for the entrance to this cave is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel that no man yet has fought with it and lived! Bones of full fifty men lie strewn about its lair. So, brave Knights, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth. -Tim the Enchanter (Monty Python and the Holy Grail) Traveller came to live with me Wednesday, May 8th, 2002 when he was eight weeks old. I knew his breeder, a fellow home schooler (we were in German class together), and because of that I had the opportunity to meet Traveller and his littermates when they where only a day old. It wasn't until he was 5 weeks that I actually wanted a rabbit, and I only wanted that one particular kitten. The thing with Traveller is that he's a total sweetheart. I call him the Rotten Rabbit because he's "spoiled" and because he makes the biggest messes in his cage, but the truth is he's a very friendly, cuddly, loving little rabbit. He doesn't bite (within reason- once I accidentally caught his leg in the cage door and he nipped me, but any animal in its right mind would have done the same), he doesn't spray, he's playful but not high-strung, and he enjoys being held and carried around. What more could a girl ask for? I couldn't afford a large commercial built cage, so I made my own. "Neat Idea Cubes" are a cheap way to make a huge, safe and very customizable cage. I would not recommend them for rabbits that aren't litter box trained. [ Building and NIC Condo | Cubes and Coroplast - Cavy Cages ]
